Major challenges faced by adolescents in rural and semi-urban areas
- High ratio of school dropout
- Juvenile delinquency
- Unemployment
- Ineffective ecosystem to promote entrepreneurship
- Absence of life skill teachings
- Apathy for higher education
To provide solution to above issues LEAAD - Ek Pahel Program was designed for students of standard 7th to 12th.
It is delivered using experiential methodology by certified facilitators in 7th to 12th standards in Gujarati/Hindi/English. It enables beneficiary students to discover - develop - demonstrate their leadership capabilities.
It involves 15 hours (spread over 5 days) training inputs followed by action learning through community development project (Action LEAAD).
LEP contain 3 different levels group wise
- Basic (Grade 7,8): LEP – Prarambh
- Advance (Grade 9,10): LEP – Prayan
- Advance +(Grade 11,12): LEP -Parivartan
